LE MIRAGE IIIC

At the end of the 50s, Dassault’s MIRAGE IIIC was chosen to equip the French Air Force. It is the first European fighter to fly above Mach 2. The C version equips fighter squadrons mainly for interception missions. Its delta wing gives it excellent manoeuvrability. Thanks to its ATAR engine, it can quickly reach the altitude required for interception.

The aircraft will also be equipped with ground-attack weapons and even a tactical nuclear weapon!

Highly appreciated by its pilots, the Mirage was subsequently produced in several versions, and met with real success on the export market.
