Douglas was a major American aircraft manufacturer. Merged with MC Donnell Aircraft to found Mc Donnell Douglas, the firm has since been taken over by Boeing in 1997.

Douglas built civil and military airplanes. The series of “DC” among which the famous DC3 DAKOTA is an example.
