Metal Earth model to assemble B24 LIBERATOR
The Consolidated B-24 LIBERATOR bomber made its first flight in 1939. It entered service in 1941 and the policy of systematic American raids in Europe will bring it to the forefront of the planes produced during the Second World War. Less known than the B-17, it nevertheless benefits from a greater range of action, a higher speed and a greater carrying capacity. Crews prefer the B17, which is stronger and retains good flight capabilities, even with heavy damage. B24 is more fragile, and tends to catch fire.
The assembly of the model:
Metal Earth models are made from high quality thin sheets of steel. Each model features amazing detail with parts cut from one or more sheets of steel.
