Space Shuttle ATLANTIS was the last model of space shuttle to fly into space to supply the international station. It now sits in the Kennedy Space Center Museum near Cape Canaveral. A formidable spacecraft capable of going into space and returning to land on an airstrip almost like an airplane, the adventure of the space shuttles was bereaved by the loss of Columbia and Challenger.
