The Consolidated PBY CATALINA is one of the most aesthetic seaplanes. Its look remains inimitable. Designed in the 1930s, it was used as a bomber, patrol boat, boat convoy escort, sea rescue, and even anti-submarine warfare during WWII. Later, it was used for its great autonomy and reliability for civilian rescue missions. Commander COUSTEAU used it in his exploration missions.
