The General Dynamic F16 is a single-engine supersonic fighter aircraft that accounts for about 20 percent of the world’s fighter aircraft fleets. The F16 has a superb silhouette, excellent performance and is constantly evolving. The most recent versions are still sold today, even though it was commissioned in 1976.

The baptism of fire of the F16 took place in 1981 and was the work of the Israeli air force which used the F16 to attack the Osirak atomic power plant in Iraq. It has since been used by several countries in different theaters of operations in very different roles: Indeed, the F16 has been declined in versions specialized in air superiority, bombing, suppression of enemy air defenses (the famous Wild Weasel).
